BIOGRAPHY
Damon Hill is a former racing driver who won 22 Formula 1 Grands Prix and the 1996 Formula One Drivers’ World Championship. Since he retired from racing, Damon has become one of the leading figures in British motor racing and a popular television analyst and pundit for Sky Sports F1.

SKY SPORTS
As far as straight Formula 1 TV work is concerned, Damon was an occasional commentator for ITV’s F1 coverage before Sky Sports took over. As part of the Sky Sports F1 team, he has taken on a variety of roles, including co-commentator, expert analyst/pundit, and presenter. He regularly gets to drive historic F1 cars in SKY Sports F1 features, particularly those relating to his and his father’s careers, and he also presents ‘F1 Explained’ and front and/or appears in other documentary-style specials looking back at the history of the sport. Damon is no longer involved with Sky but he was a key member of the SKY punditry team for many years.

For the first time ever he tells the story of his journey through the last golden era of the sport when he took on the greats including Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher and emerged victorious as World Champion in 1996, stepping out of the shadow of his legendary father Graham Hill.
